RESUMO

Introduction: There have been studies indicating that children's unsociability was associated with poorer socio-emotional functioning in China. Although some researchers have found that parenting behavior would influence the relationship between children's unsociability and adjustment, the role of parental psychological control has not been explored. This study aimed to investigate the moderating effect of parental psychological control on the relationship between unsociability and socio-emotional functioning in Chinese children. Methods: A total of 1,275 students from Grades 3 to 7 (637 boys, Mage = 10.78 years, SD = 1.55 years) were selected from four public schools in Shanghai to participate in this study. Data of unsociability, peer victimization and social preference were collected from peer-nominations, and data of parental psychological control, depressive symptoms and social anxiety were collected from self-reports. Results: There were positive associations between unsociability and peer victimization, depressive symptoms, and social anxiety, as well as a negative association between unsociability and social preference. Parental psychological control moderated these associations, specifically, the associations between unsociability and peer victimization, social preference, and depressive symptoms were stronger, and the association between unsociability and social anxiety was only significant among children with higher level of parental psychological control. Discussion: The findings in the current study highlight the importance of parental psychological control in the socio-emotional functioning of unsociable children in the Chinese context, enlightening educators that improving parenting behavior is essential for children's development.

RESUMO

In this study, ß-CD was used as a receptor to prepare three novel SDES, which were used to pretreat corn stalks for obtaining fluorescent lignin and promoting biomass pyrolytic saccharification. It was found that GA-residue had a high cellulose retention ratio (94.63%) and the highest lignin removal ratio (61.78%). Besides, the yield of carbohydrates in bio-oil was increased from 0.63% to 49.37%, and fluorescent lignin was prepared for explosion detection, fluorescent film, and information encryption. It was confirmed that the weak interaction between ß-CD and HBDs or dimer was mainly performed by hydrogen bond and van der Waals force. The minimum frontier orbital energy difference ΔEU (0.1976 a.u.) and high binding energy (-5456.71 kJ/mol) between molecules were calculated by DFT. Moreover, the mechanism of biomass pretreatment was explored. The green and efficient SDES developed in this study were of great significance for biomass pretreatment and efficient utilization of components.

RESUMO

Activity-based proteome profiling (ABPP) is a powerful chemoproteomic technology for global profiling of protein activity and modifications. The tandem orthogonal proteolysis-ABPP (TOP-ABPP) strategy utilizes a clickable enrichment tag with cleavable linkers to enable direct identification of probe-labeled residue sites within the target proteins. However, such a site-specific chemoproteomic workflow requires a long operation time and complex sample preparation procedures, limiting its wide applications. In the current study, we developed a simplified and ultrafast peptide enrichment and release TOP-ABPP ("superTOP-ABPP") pipeline for site-specific quantitative chemoproteomic analysis with special agarose resins that are functionalized with azide groups and acid-cleavable linkers. The azide groups allow enrichment of peptides that are labeled by the alkynyl probe through a one-step click reaction, which can be conveniently released by acid cleavage for subsequent LC-MS/MS analysis. In comparison with the traditional TOP-ABPP method, superTOP-ABPP cuts down the averaged sample preparation time from 25 to 9 h, and significantly improves the sensitivity and coverage of site-specific cysteinome profiling. The method can also be seamlessly integrated with reductive dimethylation to enable quantitative chemoproteomic analysis with a high accuracy. The simplified and ultrafast superTOP-ABPP will become a valuable tool for site-specific quantitative chemoproteomic studies.

RESUMO

Objectives: The goal of the present study was to examine the moderating effect of classroom sociable norm on the relations between unsociability and internalizing problems (the indicators included depression, loneliness and self-esteem) in Chinese adolescents. Methods: Participants were N = 1,160 adolescents in Grade 4-8 from Shanghai, People's Republic of China. They completed questionnaires about unsociability, sociability, and social preference via peer nominations, while depression, loneliness, and self-esteem were collected via self-report. Results: It was found that unsociability was positively associated with depression and loneliness, and negatively associated with self-esteem. Moreover, the relations between unsociability and indicators of internalizing problems were moderated by classroom sociable norm. More specifically, the significant positive associations between unsociability and depression and loneliness were stronger in classrooms with high sociable norm, and the negative association between unsociability and self-esteem was only significant in such classrooms. Conclusion: The findings suggest that classroom sociable norm plays an important role in unsociable adolescents' psychological adjustment in China. Researchers should focus more on the influence of classroom environment on adolescents' development in future.

RESUMO

The integration of ferroelectrics that exhibit high dielectric, piezoelectric, and thermal compatibility with the mainstream semiconductor industry will enable novel device types for widespread applications, and yet there are few silicon-compatible ferroelectrics suitable for device downscaling. We demonstrate with first-principles calculations that the enhanced depolarization field at the nanoscale can be utilized to soften unswitchable wurtzite III-V semiconductors, resulting in ultrathin two-dimensional (2D) sheets possessing reversible polarization states. A 2D sheet of AlSb consisting of three atomic planes is identified to host both ferroelectricity and antiferroelectricity, and the tristate switching is accompanied by a metal-semiconductor transition. The thermodynamic stability and potential synthesizability of the triatomic layer are corroborated with phonon spectrum calculations, ab initio molecular dynamics simulations, and variable-composition evolutionary structure search. We propose a 2D AlSb-based homojunction field effect transistor that supports three distinct and nonvolatile resistance states. This new class of III-V semiconductor-derived 2D materials with dual ferroelectricity and antiferroelectricity opens up the opportunity for nonvolatile multibit-based integrated nanoelectronics.

RESUMO

A Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, non-motile, white-pigmented, short rod-shaped, and alginate-degrading bacterium, designated B1Z28T, was isolated from the gut of the abalone Haliotis rubra obtained at Weihai, China. Strain B1Z28T was found to grow at 4-35 °C, pH 6.5-9.0, and in the presence of 0.5-8.0% (w/v) NaCl. Cells were positive for oxidase and catalase activity. The 16S rRNA-based phylogenetic analysis revealed that the nearest phylogenetic neighbors of strain B1Z28T were Tritonibacter scottomollicae MCCC 1A06440T (98.1%), Ruegeria faecimaris KCTC 23044T (98.0%), and Ruegeria meonggei KCTC 32450T (97.8%). Based on phylogenomic analysis, the average nucleotide identity (ANI) values between strain B1Z28T and the neighbor strains were 71.6, 77.2, and 78.1%, respectively; the digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) values based on the draft genomes between strain B1Z28T and its closest neighbors were 20.5, 20.8, and 21.6%, respectively. Ubiquinone-10 (Q-10) was detected as the predominant respiratory quinone. The dominant cellular fatty acids were Summed feature 8 (contained C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c). The polar lipids included phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG), phosphatidylglycerol (PG), phospholipid (PL), aminolipid (AL), and three unidentified lipids. Based on the phylogenetic and phenotypic characteristics, strain B1Z28T is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Ruegeria, for which the name Ruegeria haliotis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is B1Z28T (= KCTC 72686T = MCCC 1H00393T).

RESUMO

Solar thermal energy conversion and storage within phase change materials (PCMs) can overcome solar radiation intermittency to enable continuous operation of many heating-related processes. However, the energy-harvesting performance of current storage systems is always limited by low efficiencies in either solar thermal energy conversion or thermal transport within PCMs. Although PCM-based nanocomposites can address one or both of these issues, achieving high-performance composites with simultaneously enhanced photothermal performance and thermal transport capacity remains challenging. Here, we demonstrate that dual-functional aligned and interconnected graphite nanoplatelet networks (AIGNNs) yield the synergistic enhancement of interfacial photothermal conversion and thermal transport within PCMs to accelerate the solar thermal energy harvesting and storage. The AIGNNs include the naked part as the three-dimensional optical absorber and the incorporated part as thermally conductive pathways within PCMs. First, a phase change composite composed of the AIGNNs and the solid-solid PCM of polyhydric alcohol is synthesized using a facile three-step method, and shows 400% thermal conductivity enhancement for per 1 wt % graphite loading compared to pristine PCMs. After the elaborate surface treatment, a small part of the graphite networks is in situ exposed as the 3D optical absorber to boost the surface full-spectrum sunlight absorptivity up to 95%. This dual function design takes full advantage of the integrated AIGNNs in terms of both photothermal conversion and thermal transport capacities, superior to the traditional coating-enhanced photothermal conversion. This work offers a promising route to accelerating solar thermal energy harvesting and storage within PCMs.
